Welcome to Finn-Land Oasis in suburban Washington, D.C.
I adopted "my Horse <smile>" on Valentine's Day,
2000 from Dreampower Animal Rescue of Colorado Springs, CO. weighing 90 lbs and 10 months old. He was 90
lbs and 10 months old when I adopted him. Someone whom says "You can't buy love" never adopted a pet. RIP: had
to put my Newfie Ranger Buddy down in Oct., 2010. My new Ranger Buddy is a collie-lab.
This page will EVENTUALLY have links to dirctions to my place, how to contact me, links to my photo albums of Our New
House. Thank you for visiting.

What's New?
December 14, 2005: I get promoted and transferred to DC. Me and my Ranger Buddy (my 125-lb Newfoundland black lab) depart
and are enroute to Washignton, D.C.
Receive offer to sell my house within four days being on the market.
Have placed an offer to buy a house in suburban DC and close on it in early March.
I believe in God, Angels, the Communion of Saints and also the Power of Prayer. Please say a prayer for me for this new
chapter of my life. Thanks to all the support from family, friends and coworkers (If you are within The Circle of Trust you
know who are you! THANK YOU).
March 15: One month after the injury I can both run and walk. Thank you.
March 1 Update: Closed on house.
September, 2007: Bought new king-sized bed and Weber BBQ. Entertained close "second family" relatives over Labor
Day weekend. It rained for much of the early part but had great time.
October, 2007: A month I'll never forget because I went home twice. First trip was as godfather for my niece's baptism.
Dad wasn't doing well and didn't know how my parents were going to make it thru the brutal midwestern winter. Second trip
was very tumultous for my family. My dad had a stroke, was admitted to hospice and eventually died. During all of it my
older sister had a massive stroke resulting in paralysis along entire left side of her body. Many miracles happened. She
was evacuated by helicoper to major regional medical treatment facility (MTF) and she fulfilled threshhold eligibility requirements
for the clotbuster TPA. She was home for my dad's funeral and then flown back to east coast via an Angel type flight. After
eight weeks of acute medical care and rehabilitation in a nursing home she was discharged. Please keep her and my family
in your prayers.
July, 2007: I've gotten a new hot tub (free) and will be installing it soon after a concrete pad is poured and electrical
connection made.
